Week 43

I've been trying to be good about posting relatively on time, but the stupid internet at my place doesn't want to cooperate with my plan. It randomly goes out at random times, and it magically goes back on whenever it feels like it. It's super annoying, is what it is. Hopefully the tech that is coming tomorrow can fix the issue. I mean, I'm not paying for shitty spotty-sometimes-it-works internet over here. I pay a good decent amount of money for the internet, so the least I can expect is for the damn thing to work consistently.

Well it's working now, obviously, so I will try to blog.

Not that there's much to really blog about other than it is now 43 weeks into my braces journey. Which mans 9 more weeks until it's a year since I got these suckers placed on. Which is a big milestone, as far as milestones go. I mean, it's a year. A year of my teeth moving and my bite changing. It certainly doesn't feel like it's been a year, but I guess time really does fly when one is having fun...or not. Time just flies, regardless.

These finishing wires doesn't seem to really move teeth fast, so as a result, I haven't really seen much of any movements. The elastics are still there, doing whatever the heck it is that they're doing (what that is, I have no clue). The gap between my lower right central and lateral incisor seemed to have closed a tiny little bit, but there's still noticeably a gap there when I floss. Overall, my teeth really doesn't look all that different from last week. Or the week before. But I do trust that my orthodontist knows what he's doing, because I sure as heck have no idea what's supposed to be happening right now, other than we're working on my bite.

These finishing wires certainly are the least exciting wires out of the wires I've had. But on the bright side, I'm one step closer to being done.
